wednesday...day off!

it's snowing out and i'm hoping everyone's okay driving...i woke up to the nanny this morning! i love fran <3
i'm looking at this plant catalogue and i just think it's amazing how many different species of eggplant there are...like...the thai purple blush eggplant...it's spherical and white with purple blush...part of me just wants to grow oddities in my garden.
i guess i can note here what i'd like to grow:
carrots (they have a cosmic purple carrot that's bright purple on the outside and orange on the inside then a red carrot)
BEANS! i fell in love with fresh beans while picking at them at the restaurant...they just boil them there and they taste fan-f***ing-tasti! plus they have purple beans! not that i'd buy them...
-raspberries-they have these white little raspberries that taste so good... but any raspberries will do
- stawberries- my parents used to sell the by the road so i feel like i should plant them...i hate the texture of them, but they are good in smoothies
-lettuce....always so good...and since i'm starting to make dressing...it'd be fun to go pick lettuce from the garden
-any herbs really...basil for sure......brian wants cilantro...which is cool...i'd even like to just grow some herbs in my window...i want to do a little window box full of them... the cool thing about parsley is the restaurant i work for, they actually grow parsley in the back parking lot... lol there's like a little spot in the parking lot that wasn't paved that has parsley growing in it...very cool little tid bit
-broccoli- in this magazine they have this really cool looking broccoli that looks like the hens and chicks plant...i'd like to try cooking with it...it's supposed to be a lot like cauliflower texture wise so...i wish i could plant broccolini...<33 maybe
-pickling cucumbers! since i know for sure i can make pickles now....i'd like to plant these
-hot banana peppers- for the pickles and brian fell in love with an easy way of jarring these without having to can them...and now he can't help but get peppers and do the same for his sandwiches..
-mushrooms- i like the fungus now!
-pumpkins- but these are planted in the summer so i'm in no hurry....(white pumpkins to be exact)
-tomatoes- for the hell of it
-garlic would be cool

as far as flowers go i love sunflowers, jasmine, poppies, and lily of the valley i'll be happy

valentine's day
brian and i are planning things for valentine's day...but if anyone has any ideas i'd like to know...i know we'd like to go ice skating...i haven't been since i was in new york in the third grade so it'll be fun... i think we're gonna see what bar symon's like... supposedly they have guinness ice cream according to nick
so yeah those are the plans so far.....
