changing my life in a positive way.
first on the list- teaching myself to sew. i've succeeded so far in this. >>.
this is supposed to be a frog. i don't have a name for it. i found the pattern in a book. i used a seam stitch and then a back stitch for the first time. i did get bored with this by the end of the night and sewed the buttons on in a half- assed way, but he's still kinda cute. any name suggestions?
learn to crochet- i wanted to learn how to crochet because my mother made me a lovely scarf for christmas and it inspired me. she always makes the cutest things with crochet. it boggles my mind what you can do with a ball of yarn. my mom's helping me with this. i started a chain, but it's just single stitches up and down. it's a start.
needle felting. so cool. it's where you take a little clump of wool and a special needle and poke it until it stiffens. today, i'm going with my mom to learn how to do this. pretty damn exciting.
exercising. i have never been one to do this. never. not even when my friends would, not even when my own boyfriend would. to improve my credit score (for reasons i'll mention later) i went to target, opened a card, and bought an exercise ball, and a pilates band. i haven't used the pilates band as much, but i try to use the ball every day. i've started running. i can run two miles in thirteen minutes now. at first i could only run a mile in fifteen minutes. yeah...it was VERY difficult. i exercise with carmen elektra (sp?) and holly madison now ^_^ ::ha:: little by little guys, little by little
a garden. i want an actual garden this year, where i can grow veggies and flowers. i love to watch everything grow and i definitely want to learn how to properly grow stuff.how can i have a garden when i only have a porch? i'm moving. 65** marsol road, apt # 508 is no longer my home beginning march 31st. where do i go now? just down mayfield. i'm busy picking out things for my new home ----roughly like this. i like the white trees on the dark walls. i like the neutral, browns, reds, and greens. i want the theme of the house to be like...woods and little wood land creatures :) so that's what's up with the house. this, i'd like to note would NEVER have been possible if it weren't for my aunt yolanda. i love you thank you! god rest your soul!!!! <3 <3
talking to more girls. all my friends are guys. i need estrogen in my life. i can talk to guys and relate to them, but girls are a little easier to talk to about girl things ::laughs::
blogging! i want to document my progress! i want to maybe inspire others to do the same. so keep up with me and i'll keep up with this! exciting!
love-
